Assignment Description: 

In this project, students design a custom luminaire in accordance with the design problem proposed for the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, Boston Chapter, Student Light Fixture Design Competition. The students develop a concept around the theme proposed by IESNA, and they must create technical specifications, digital renderings, sketches, and a physical lit model. Each student creates a poster for the project to submit to the competition.
