In 2022, I was awarded the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) Community Service Award.  As stated on the IDEC website, this award recognizes and honors significant contribution of community service by an individual or group associated with the discipline of interior design.

Additionally, I was awarded the IIDA Impact Stipend for similar community-engaged work. The Impact Stipend supports IIDA members who support their design community through mentoring and/or use their expertise to volunteer in their community.
